Dale R. Weihrouch

Dale R. Weihrouch, 76, of Elmore, OH, died Monday at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH. He was born in Broughton, OH on February 25, 1932, a son of the late John A. & Ila (Keck) Weihrouch. A U.S. Navy veteran, Dale was a member of American Legion Post #279. He was also an active member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Elmore, where he served as president of the church council. Dale was a retired employee of Brush Wellman, Inc., where he was a technical specialist in quality control. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Fader) Weihrouch, who he married on December 14, 1952; daughter, Robin Ruf, Worthington, OH; brother, Lavonne Weihrouch, Temperance, MI; sisters, Margaret Murray, Fremont, OH, Sr. Virginia Harris, R.S.M., Urbana, OH, and Jane Bankey, Houston, TX; and granddaughter, Alison Ruf. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille O. Weihrouch, and his son, Mark A. Weihrouch. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-9 P.M. Wednesday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at St. John's United Church of Christ, with the Revs. Karl K. Whiteman and John W. Bock officiating. Interment will be in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery with Amerian Legion Post #279 conducting military graveside rites. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
