Dale A. Cerny, 63, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. Beloved father of Matthew, brother of Diana (Ed) Karasek, Renee (Herb) Ferguson, Lois Cerny (Bob, deceased), Don (Marlene) Cerny and Lou Ann (Rick) Bart, and uncle to l8 nieces and nephews and 23 great nieces and nephews. Dale was a proud member of the 1972 Valley Forge H.S. wrestling team, which team won the State Championship. He loved living on East Harbor where he enjoyed boating and fishing. He worked at Cerny Shoes in Lakewood for over 30 years. Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2017 from 3:00 - 8:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH 43440. Family is requesting that, in lieu of flowers, any monetary gifts be directed to (the funeral home) in the name of Dale Cerny.
