Cynthia Sue Ball

Cynthia Sue Ball lost her courageous battle with cancer August 27, 2016. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was 78. Sue is survived by her devoted husband Louis C. Ball. They were married November 11, 2011. She is also survived by her children Julie (Dean) Henry, Joan Leslie Jones, John (Shelly) Bergman, Jennifer (Mark) Zaremba, their father John Bergman; her step-children Susan (Antonio) Leon, Stephanie (Stephen) Lamont, Brain Ball; her grandchildren Ernie (Jessica) Bergman, Brittany (Andrew) Miller, Billy Wynn, Preston (Brittany) Wielinski, John Michael (Shelbie) Bergman, Jennifer Jones, Zachery Wielinski, Seth Bergman, Tyler O'Malley, Joshua Bergman and Parker Jones; her step-grandchildren Antonio (Leah) Leon, Angela Lamont, Monica Lamont, Michael (Melissa) Lamont, Brent (Brittany) Ball, Brock Ball, Abby Ball, Mike Henry, Maggie (Shane) Cook, Michelle (Brandon) Kimmet, Rachel Smith; great-grandchildren Aiden and Addison Miller and numerous step-great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father Harry G. Eaton, mother Wilma Eaton, daughter Janie Bergman (died 11 hours after birth) and husband James Ruddock. Cynthia "Sue" was born in Parkersburg, WV. She moved to Ottawa County in 1941. She graduated from Port Clinton High School in 1957. She worked at Green's Drug Store for many years and retired from J.R.'s Hallmark store where she was proprietor and loved by all her customers and employees. She enjoyed taking pictures, lot and lots of pictures. She spent hours creating wonderful scrapbooks, especially for her grandchildren. She was an avid sports fan and loved watching her beloved sport teamsthe Tribe, the Cavs, the Brown and the Buckeyes. She also enjoyed traveling, spending time in her garden, and making memories with her beloved family. To celebrate her life, a memorial visitation will be held at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 135 Adams St., Port Clinton at 1:00 pm. A reception will be held immediately following at The Port Clinton Elks Lodge located at 231 Buckeye Blvd. Port Clinton, OH.
