Corey L. Wahlers

Corey L. Wahlers, 40, of Catawba Island, died Tuesday May 1, 2007 at his residence. He was born August 26, 1966 in Port Clinton, the son of Keith E. and Vanda M. (Wickline) Wahlers. Corey was formerly employed by the Carlson Company. He was a 1984 graduate of Port Clinton High School and loved fishing, hunting, camping, carpentry and cooking. Surviving is his mother, Vanda M. Wahlers of Catawba Island; sisters, Renee (David) Haugh of Toledo and Treva (Mark) Burkholder of Port Clinton; niece and nephews Kristen, Brian and Andrew Haugh; special friend, Wade Schmidt and his dogs Shaman, Cassidy and Molly. The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Thursday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, where funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Friday. The Rev. Deron Fourman will officiate and interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Port Clinton Bible Methodist Church.
