Colleen L. Madison

Colleen L. Madison, 89, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Riverview Healthcare Campus in Oak Harbor, Ohio. She was born on April 26, 1923 in Ottawa County, the daughter of the late Roy and Margaret (Floriana) Madison. She worked as a dental assistant, working for Dr. Ingram until her retirement. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton where she helped out with BINGO for many years. Her hobbies included bowling in her younger years and traveling to most of the 50 states, and she especially going to Amish Country. Survivors include her cousin: Connie Trimble, of Port Clinton as well as numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a cousin: Margaret McDavitt. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 9-9:45am at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison Street, Port Clinton, with Father John C. Missler officiating. Burial will follow in Rushau Cemetery in Carroll Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception School or to the Humane Society of Ottawa County.
