Cleta C. Jeffries

Cleta C. Jeffries, 90, of Port Clinton and formerly of Littleton, CO, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at ProMedica Memorial Hospital, Fremont, OH. She was born May 14, 1934 in Cedar Springs, MO the daughter of Thomas B. and Pearl (Baker) Purtle. She married Lorin M. Jeffries on January 16, 1958 and he preceded her in death on March 8, 2023. She was a member of Port Clinton Bible Methodist Church.

Surviving are her children: Douglas B. (Teresa) Jeffries of Helena, MT, Cara (Ben) Barnett of San Antonio, TX, Kent (Krista) Jeffries of Oak Harbor, OH; grandchildren: Connor-Shay Jeffries, Luke Barnett, Kirk Barnett, Ruben Barnett, Serena Barnett, Alex Barnett, Crystal Barnett, Brayden (Mel) Jeffries, Andrew Jeffries, Hannah Jeffries; great-granddaughter: Briella Jeffries. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and brother: J. B. Purtle.

Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 pm Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH with visitation prior to the service starting at 3:00 pm. Interment will be 11:00 am Monday, January 13, 2025 at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH. Pastor Deron Fourman will be officiating.
