Clara M. Fillmore

Clara M. Fillmore, 76, of Rocky Ridge, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at her home. She was born in Port Clinton, Ohio on January 26, 1943, a daughter of the late Pearl & Thelma E. (Sallee) Bostater. Clara was a homemaker and an employee of the former Kilmer Lumber Company in Limestone, Ohio. She loved birds of all kinds, and enjoyed watching them from her window. On July 30, 1966, Clara married Wayne E. Fillmore, Sr., and he preceded her in death on April 5, 2012 after nearly 46 years of marriage. Clara is survived by her children, Wayne Fillmore, Jr., Thelma (Robert) Kitzler, and Rose Oberhaus; grandchildren, Curt Clere, Christina (Justin Sprankel) Oberhaus, Justin Clere, Michelle Fillmore, Brittany Fillmore, Taylor Michael, and Danielle Kitzler; great-grandchildren, Cayden Clere, Levi Clere, Liam Clere, Quinn Clere, and Allie Sprankle. She was also preceded in death by granddaughters, Tabitha Clere Depner and Sarah Clere; son-in-law, Lannie Clere; brother, Frank Bostater, and sister, Thelma "Bonnie" Armer. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 301 N. Locust St., Oak Harbor, OH, where friends may call after 10:00 A.M. Saturday. Interment will follow the services at Limestone Cemetery, Limestone, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
