Clara M. Allen

Clara M. Allen, 89 of Oak Harbor and formerly of Locust Point, OH died Sunday, March 20, 2016 at home following a lengthy illness. She was born July 18, 1926 in Toledo, OH to the late Frank and Catherine TenEyck. On January 15, 1949 she married Ira Allen who preceded her in death in 1999. Clara was a homemaker and operated Allen's Getaway in Locust Point. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo. Survivors include her children: Dan (Micki) Allen of Graytown, OH and Brenda (Clay) Russell of Fremont, OH; grandchildren: Zackary Allen, Miranda (Andy) Horn, Christina Joseph, and Kenny Simon; great- grandchildren Jase Allen & J.D. Simon. She was also preceded in death by her children Robert Allen and Linda Simon. Graveside Services will begin at 2pm Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Lake Twp. Cemetery, Millbury, OH. Visitation will be at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Thursday from 10am- 1pm. Memorial Contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice.
