Clara Lucille Hines

Clara Lucille Hines, 79, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Monday, November 26, 2012 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. She was born on June 15, 1933 in Tazwell, Virginia, the daughter of the late John and Lily (Williams) Yost. She worked at the former Standard Products in Port Clinton until her retirement in 1993. Clara was a member of the Wayside Temple in Castalia, Ohio where she was very active within the church, and also a member of the Port Clinton VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Dailey L. Hines, whom she married on June 6, 1953; daughter: Beverly (Kenneth) Nietfeld, Port Clinton; sons: Steven (Stephanie) Hines, Jacksonville, Florida and Randy (Chanelle) Hines, Port Clinton; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sisters: Eula (Wilburn) Vest, Princeton, West Virginia and Lois Dillon, Bluefield, Virginia; brothers: Dennis (Virgie) Yost, Bayview, Ohio; Russell Yost, Sandusky, Ohio; and Mallory (Linda) Yost, Princeton, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Geraldine Goings, Catherine Etter and Mary Miller; brothers: Raymond, Roy, Robert Yost, and an infant brother and sister: John and Gladys Yost. Visitation will be held at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, on Friday, November 30, 2012 from 2-4pm, followed by funeral services at 4pm with Pastor Rusty Yost officiating. Cremation will then take place. Burial and committal services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 11am at Catawba Island Cemetery with Pastor Rusty Yost officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayside Temple.
