Christopher Edward Carson, 54, of Gypsum, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky, Ohio. He was born on October 9, 1964 in Port Clinton, Ohio, the son of Dean and Patricia (Hundley) Carson. On July 22, 1994 he married Billie Jo Silverwood and she survives. Chris worked as a crew member doing construction for Ken Gill Construction in Port Clinton for over 15 years. He was a member of the Port Clinton Eagles and the VFW Lodge. He was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed riding his 4 wheeler looking for deer, hunting, and sitting around a fire pit with family and friends. Survivors include his loving wife, Billie Jo; brothers, Greg (Karla) Carson, Port Clinton, and Jeff (Pam) Carson, Port Clinton; sisters, Peggy (Jim) Haer, Port Clinton and Amy (Dave) Cottrell, Charleston, West Virginia; as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Family and Friends are invited to a gathering to celebrate Chriss life on Saturday March 16th at the VFW Hall, 214 Madison Street, Port Clinton, Ohio, from 11-2 pm.
