Christopher D. Meyer

Christopher D. Meyer of Marblehead, OH passed away Saturday, November 9th, 2013 in his home. He was born in Toledo, OH on August 27, 1956 to Ralph J. Meyer and Rita Meyer. He attended St. Francis High School, and graduated from the University of Toledo College of Engineering in 1984. His career focus was seat belt design, and he held many patents in his field of expertise. Chris was active in many outdoor sports and enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, camping and walking his beloved dogs. He is survived by his four children: Sean (Andrea) Meyer of Ann Arbor, MI; Dana Meyer of Toledo, OH; Chelsea (Eli) Branum of Fairborn, OH; and Hannah Meyer of Amman, Jordan. Chris is also survived by his four brothers: Richard Meyer of Leesburg, VA; John Meyer of Marblehead, OH; Robert Meyer of Phoenix, AZ; and Jeff Meyer of Des Moines, IA. Memorial service will be held at a later date when all family can be present. The family suggests that any memorial contributions be made to Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary, Inc.
