Christel D. Starr

Christel D. Starr, 77, of Catawba Island died Saturday, December 10, 2016 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born Feb. 18, 1939 in Berlin, Germany, the daughter of Max and Clara (Matheus) Trodler. She married Ted Starr on Feb. 18, 1975 and he preceded her in death on Oct. 23, 2004. Mrs. Starr was a member of Erie Shores Assembly of God, Port Clinton, OH. Surviving are her sister Renate Brenke of Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister: Regina Trodler. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 am Saturday, Jan 7, 2017 at Erie Shores Assembly of God, 220 S. Gill Rd. Port Clinton, OH 43452 with a luncheon at the church immediately following the service. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio at 10:45 am Friday, December 16, 2017.
