Chris Madsen

Chris R. Madsen, 56, of Port Clinton, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014 at his residence. He was born April 8, 1957 in Columbus, OH the son of Billy W. and Lois A. (Gray) Madsen. He married Julie Lynn Dubbert on March 29, 1980 and she survives. Chris was a supervisor for Signature Label where he worked for 35 years. Surviving are his wife: Julie; daughters: Carissa (Jamie) Klavinger of Oak Harbor, Nicole Madsen-Shukeat of Port Clinton, Misty (David) Siemer of Columbus; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and sister: Michelle (Steve) Garcia. He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Christopher M. Madsen; brothers: Perry Madsen and Randy Madsen. Private family graveside services will be conducted at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. In leiu of flowers the family suggests memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
