Charlotte M. Morris, 77, of Oak Harbor, Ohio, and formerly of Catawba Island and St. Louis, Missouri, died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Cottage Cove at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born in St. Louis, MO on July 19, 1931, a daughter of Oliver A. & Teresa E. Trojahn. Mrs. Morris was a switchboard operator for the former Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton. She enjoyed reading and gardening, but especially enjoyed watching old movies. She was the widow of Raymond J. Morris, who preceded her in death on July 26, 2004. Mrs. Morris is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Kent) Cooper, Port Clinton, Teresa (Ronald) Cipolla and Patricia Chamness, St. Louis; sons, James (Monica) Hartnett and Laine Hartnett, St. Louis; brother, Oliver (Delores) Trojahn, St. Louis; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister, Dorothy Thier. Friends are invited to call from 1-2 P.M. Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the chapel of Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday. Sr. M. Jane Fisher will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Cottage Cove. Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor is handling arrangements for the family.
