Charlotte M. Griesser

Charlotte M. Griesser, 89, of Marblehead, died Wednesday May 21, 2008 at Providence Care Center in Sandusky. She was born August 18, 1918 in Marblehead, the daughter of Daniel J. and Martha (Miller) Griesser. Charlotte was a graduate of Lakeside High School and the Flora Stone Mather College of Case Western Reserve. She was a high school teacher in Oak Harbor and Painesville until her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. Surviving are her sister-in-law, Marian "Monie" Griesser; nieces Paula (Robert) Fairfield, Carolyn Gast and Kathy (Dominick) Yovino; great nieces and nephews Wendy, Matt and Brad Fairfield, Joe, Holly and Peter Gast, Heidi Twarek and Joe Yovino and great great nephews David Gast, Daniel, Conner and Ian Fairfield and a great great neice Cassandra Yovino. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Wynn, Paul and Daniel; sister Alice Mae; nephew in law David Gast and great nephew Chris Gast. Visitation will be held 4 -8 pm Friday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Marblehead. Additional visitation will be held from 9 am Saturday until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
