Charles W. "Chuck" Cover

Charles W. “Chuck” Cover, 54, of Amherst, OH and formerly of Port

Clinton, OH passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born June 27, 1969 in Columbus, OH the son of Dr. Barry and Mary Jo (Eberle) Cover. Chuck graduated from

Port Clinton High School and Kent State University. He was an

architectural draftsman. He married Wendy (Morgan) Galiffo and later

married Valerie Jones. Chuck was an artist, an actor and loved to

read and enjoyed fishing.

Within a few days of his death his wife Valerie Jones also passed away. Surviving are his children: Jesse Reed Cover of Cleveland, VA, Morgan Abigail (Nathan) Justice of Blue Field, WV; grandson: Charles David Justice; step-granddaughter Kaedence Reese Justice, parents: Dr. Barry and Mary Jo Cover of Port Clinton; and brother: John (Kim) Cover of Hilliard, OH.

Visitation with the family will be at Neidecker-Crosser-Priesman Funeral Home in Port Clinton on Friday, June 7 from 6-8 pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Port Clinton at 10 AM on Saturday June 8.
