Charles Lawrence Arntz

Charles L. Arntz, 86 of Lakeside, OH died Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor. He was born April 29, 1937 in Mansfield, OH to the late Charles H. and Rose H. (Amato) Arntz. He was a 1955 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School and received his Bachelor of Science from Ohio University. Chuck served in the United States Army. He retired from Sales for Sears, where he designed kitchens, and Master Builders. On February 12, 2011 he married the former Carol Luebcke, and she survives.

Charles was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead, OH where he was an active member of the Choir and Knights of Columbus. After retirement, he drove a school bus for the Mansfield and Danbury School Systems. Chuck enjoyed fishing, boating, walking and exercising.

Survivors include his wife Carol of Lakeside, OH; son Matthew (Dr. Stephanie Little) Arntz of Beavercreek, OH; and grandchildren Abby and Sophia Arntz and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his sister Carol Bishop and great niece Tiffany Bishop.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay St., Marblehead, OH, where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 am at the Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Marblehead.
