Charles "Chuck" Ohl

Charles "Chuck" Ohl, 84, of Lakeside, OH died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk, OH. He was born July 16, 1928 in Akron, OH the son of Clyde C. and Rachel Rose (Wise) Ohl. He married Caroline Salzwimmer on Feb. 10, 1968 and she preceded him in death on May 6, 2009. He retired as a construction estimator for Forest City Enterprises and was a former part owner of Krumroy Construction Co., Akron, OH. He was a member of First United Church of Christ, Marblehead, OH where he was the church Treasurer. He was a member and past treasurer of the Marblehead Peninsula Lions Club and a member of Port Clinton Elks 1718. Surviving are his step-daughter: Theresa (Joseph) Volovar of Akron; step-son Richard (Jan) Miller of Akron; seven step-grandchildren; eleven step-great-grandchildren; brother: David (Mary Lou) Ohl of Hunnington, WV; good friend Suzanne Inglis of Marblehead and his many Marblehead friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Caroline and sisters: Ruth Hummel and Roberta Jaucher. Memorial services will be held 3:00 pm Friday, March 29, 2013 at First United Church of Christ, Marblehead, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to First United Church of Christ.
