Cecelia C. Lindemann

Cecelia C. Lindemann, 69, of Port Clinton, died Saturday at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky. She was born January 30, 1938 in Port Clinton, the daughter of the late Waldo T. and Charlotte (Breitfelder) Lindemann. Cecelia was a 1956 graduate of Port Clinton High School and was employed as a deputy clerk for the Ottawa County Municipal Court, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed her plants (especially African violets), her pets and her rocks. Surviving are her sisters Eleanore (William) Paulsen of Oak Harbor; Eloise (Jim) Schmitz of Avon; brothers Robert Lindemann of Toledo and Thomas (Diana) Lindemann of Osceola, Ind and many nieces and nephews. A private family mass will be held at the Immaculate Conception Church with the Rev. John C. Missler officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ida Rupp Public Library, the American Cancer Society or the Immaculate Conception School.
