Cathleen N. (Cutcher) Bodnar

Cathleen N. (Cutcher) Bodnar, 79 of Oak Harbor, OH passed away peacefully to be with her Savior on Tuesday, August 29, 2023. She was born August 26, 1944 in Port Clinton, OH to Douglas Cutcher and Martha (Bass) Horn. She attended Port Clinton City Schools. On July 7, 1961 she married Jon (Jack) S. Bodnar, and he survives. Cathy was a homemaker who also worked for several companies in the area. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. She enjoyed quilting/sewing, going to auctions, spending time on the family property in Southern Ohio, gardening, and being with her family while they were camping, fishing, or hunting.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years Jack of Oak Harbor; children: Mark (Anna) Bodnar of Huntersville, NC, Mike (Angela) Bodnar of Oregon, OH, Matt (Julie) Bodnar of Oak Harbor, OH, and Jackie (Mike) Guerrero of Curtice, OH; 16 grandchildren, 31 great- grandchildren; sisters Brenda Rollins of Port Clinton, OH and Anita Brecht of Mansfield, OH; and brothers Stanley Cutcher of Port Clinton and Derick Horn. She was preceded in death by her father Douglas Cutcher, mother and step-father Martha and Laben “T” Horn; brothers: Dan Cutcher and Joe Cutcher; and sister Myra “Micky” Bass.

Visitation will be Friday from 3-7pm at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Oak Harbor Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11am on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. Burial will be in Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
