Catherine Ullrich

Catherine Ullrich, 69, of Marblehead, OH and formerly of Kelleys Island, OH passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at her home. She was born January 17, 1953 in Cleveland, OH the daughter of Victor and Iva Lou (Nelson) Gigliotti. She married Thomas Joseph Ullrich in 1982 and he preceded her in death in 1997. Catherine loved her sons, spending time with family and friends, Cleveland sports, THE Ohio State Buckeyes, playing cards, and reading. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marblehead, OH.

Surviving are her sons: Matthew Thomas (Iva Petkova) Ullrich of Schaumburg, IL, Stephen Victor Ullrich of Seattle, WA; brother: Victor (Martha) Gigliotti. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 pm Friday, January 13, 2023 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Rd. Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Father Nick Cunningham 10:00 am Saturday, January 14, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 822 Barclay St. Marblehead, OH with a private, family only, interment to follow in Kelleys Island Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Kelleys Island in the spring. Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
