Catherine J. Vollmer

Catherine J. Vollmer, 85, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at her home. She was born at home on January 3, 1937 in Gypsum, OH the daughter of Orville and Vivian (Voss) Silverwood. While raising her children her home was the neighborhood hang out, talking with the neighbor ladies. Catherine loved to camp, crafts and dabbled in many things from cake decorating, ceramics, plaster of paris, sewing, crocheting, making quilts, drawing and painting.

Surviving are her Husband: Earl Thomas Vollmer of Port Clinton; children: Thomas Earl Vollmer, Mary (Kevin) Priddy, Janet Benton; grandchild: Melissa Benton; special nieces and nephews: Art Rose, Ashley Barton, Kyle Weller; great-nieces: Maddison Calabrese, Alejandra Barton and sister: Janet Barcus. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Vivian Virginia Rose, Robert Silverwood and William Silverwood.
