Catharine A. Smith, 68 of Genoa, OH died Monday, February 8, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. She was born August 25, 1947 in Elmore, OH to the late Gordon & Patsy (Marshall) Witty. She was a 1965 graduate of Harris-Elmore High School. On September 12, 1994 she married Jimmie Smith who preceded her in death May 16, 2003. Catharine was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter Kelly (Matthew Powell) Knitz of Genoa; grandchildren: Sam, Jacob, and Caden; brother Mike (Judy) Witty of Elmore, OH. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 12, 2016 at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel where the family will receive friends after 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
