Carolyn Morrisette

Carolyn Morrisette, 57, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away at Firelands Regional Medical Center on May 11, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 8, 1964 in Laurel, MS, to Luther Porter and Mary Alridge. Carolyn met her soulmate, Kenny Morrisette, in 1977. In September of 1983, she married Kenny, and they had three beautiful children, Kenny Jr., Tomekia, and Cenon. Carolyn loved cooking for her loved ones in her free time, doing hair, and scratching lottery tickets. Carolyn adored and loved her mother, Mary Alridge, her husband, Kenny Morrisette, her children, grandchildren, and a great-grandson. Carolyn was so proud of all of her grandchildren and great-grandson. She never missed a birthday and loved all of them with everything in her. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Kenny Morrisette, Port Clinton, OH; her children, Kenny Morrisette Fremont, OH, Tomekia Darden, and Cenon Morrisette both of Port Clinton, OH; siblings, William Alridge Jr., Fremont, OH, David (Joyce) Alridge, Clyde, OH, Charlotte Alridge and Lester Miller Jr. both of Fremont, OH; Mother, Mary Alridge of Fremont, OH. Along with 30 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Luther Porter; brothers, Luther Porter Jr. and Curtis Alridge. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 19, from 11-12 pm at Neidecker Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton St, Port Clinton, OH 43452. The service will immediately follow, beginning at noon.
