Caroline Ohl, 83, of Lakeside, OH died May 6, 2009 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. She was born May 28, 1925 in Akron the daughter of Frank and Theresa (Libis) Salzwimmer. She married Charles Ohl on Feb. 10, 1968 and he survives. Mrs. Ohl was a member of First United Church of Christ, Marblehead; Ladies of the Elk, Port Clinton; Antiquarians of Lakeside; she enjoyed gardening, cooking and making crafts. She previously worked at the Sparkle Market in Kenmore, OH. Surviving are her husband: Chuck; daughter: Theresa (Joseph) Volovar of Akron; son: Richard (Jan) Miller of Akron; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and sister: Pauline Berry of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her father Frank Salzwimmer; mother and step-father Theresa and Edmond Conrad; son: Ronald Miller; brothers Frank, Joe, Ed, Otto and Dan Salzwimmer. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, May 9, 2009 at First United Church of Christ, Lakeside. Visitation will be held Friday from 2:00-5:00 and 7:00 9:00 pm at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, LakesideMarblehead, OH. Visitation will also be held Saturday from 10:00 until the time of the service at the church.
