Carol Joy Ohm

Carol Joy Ohm (83) of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away on September 23, 2022.

Carol was born on June 6, 1939 in Goodrich, Michigan to Francis and Ruth Long. Carol was a 1957 graduate of Port Clinton High School. She married Richard Allen Ohm on December 20,1958 in Port Clinton, Ohio, and they spent 49 wonderful years together. Carol worked for Bolte Real Estate and Insurance Agency for 30 years and volunteered at Stein Hospice and Magruder Hospital after her retirement. She will be remembered by her family for her kindness, love, and generosity.

Carol is survived by her three sons: Richard (Sue), Stephen (Jennifer), and Christopher; her grandchildren: Lyndsay (Oren) Morton, Erin (Seth) Benner, Justin (Heidi) Ohm, Richard Ohm, Sara (Zackary) Dempsey, Joshua Ohm, and Rachel Ohm as well as five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Susan (Patrick) Arble and several nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Ronald Long.

A private family memorial service will be held later this month. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stein Hospice or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).  Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Port Clinton is handling the arrangements.
