Carol Ginny Vollmer

Carol "Ginny" Vollmer, 74, of Port Clinton, died Wednesday May 28, 2008 at her residence. She was born January 8, 1934 in Erie Township, the daughter of Carol B. and Agnes E. (Sonnichsen) Vollmer. Ginny was a homemaker and one of Jehovah's Witnesses in Port Clinton and a member of the Port Clinton Kingdom Hall. Surviving is a sister Anna L. Conn of Port Clinton; brothers James F. Vollmer and E. Thomas Vollmer of Port Clinton, L. David Vollmer of Serpta, LA and Robert W. Vollmer of Corning, NY; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Edith M. VanVoorhis and Shirley M. Sanicky and brothers Charles P. and William J. Vollmer. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at 10 am Saturday at the LaCarpe Cemetery, Erie Township. Memorial contributions may be made to the Port Clinton Kingdom Hall.
