Carol Ann Kosanka

Carol Ann Kosanka, 81 of Oak Harbor, OH died Monday, September 11, 2017 at her home following a brief illness. She was born May 25, 1936 in Oak Harbor to the late Donald & Helen (Burmeister) Rimelspach. She was a 1954 graduate of Salem-Oak Harbor High School. On December 4, 1954 she married Robert L. Kosanka and he survives. Carol was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oak Harbor. She enjoyed sewing and knitting but could also be found at a racetrack with her husband Bob and their family. Survivors include her husband Bob of Oak Harbor; children: Donald (Jamie) Kosanka of Chapin, SC, Tracie (DeWayne) Henson of Oak Harbor, OH, and Jacob (Nanci) Kosanka of Fremont, OH; grandchildren: A.J. (Jackie) Kosanka, Hali (Brett) Bucher, AnnMarie Lee DeTray (Blair Wyss), Kelli (Matt) McClure, Ashleigh Kosanka, Molli (Jorge) Delgadillo; and great- granddaughter Lyla Sue Kosanka. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Ruby Moritz, Rita Chrysler, and LaDonna Dailey. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-8 P.M. at Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Oak Harbor Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the funeral home with Pastor Harry Hunt Officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Township Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
