Carol Ann Baker

Carol Ann Baker, 77 of Elmore, OH died Sunday, December 10, 2023 at Mercy -St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo, OH. She was born April 14, 1946 in Toledo, OH to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Minor) Pietrzak. Carol earned a Masters degree in Education and touched the lives of many in her 32 years as an English teacher at Rossford High School.

She served as trustee for Harris Township and was involved in many projects that benefitted the community. Carol volunteered at Otterbein Senior- Community doing crafts with residents; and was a loving pet parent for many years. Carol was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes, Genoa; and also attended St. Boniface Catholic Church in Oak Harbor.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 52 years Robert Baker, of Elmore; sister Margie Yarnell (Dan) of Snow Camp, NC; brother Alan Pietrzak of Holland, OH; and cherished nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, December 15, 2023 from 11am-1pm at Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 1pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will be handled privately by the family in the Harris- Elmore Union Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
