Carl W. Trimble, 66, of Port Clinton, died Saturday December 16, 2006 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center in Port Clinton. He was born December 4, 1940 in Newark, the son of Louis and Edna (Moomaw) Trimble. Carl was retired from the State of Ohio at Camp Perry. He was a member of the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Oak Harbor and a member of the Elks Lodge 1718 of Port Clinton; the Moose Lodge 1610 of Port Clinton; the Eagles Lodge Aerie 2295 of Port Clinton and the American Legion Post of Oak Harbor. Surviving are his wife Connie (Baumgartner) Trimble whom he married on December 20, 1967; his mother Edna Trimble of Newark; a brother John (Alice) Trimble of Port Clinton, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and brothers Richard Eugene and Donald Gene. Visitation will be conducted from 7-9 Sunday at the Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton where funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday.
