Carl J. Warnke

Carl J. Warnke, 86, of Clyde, OH died Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, OH. He was born March 4, 1933 in Port Clinton, OH the son of Leonard and Ruth Warnke. He married Nam Kim on August 13, 1972 and she survives. Carl was a United States Army veteran serving in the Korean and Vietnam wars. Carl worked as an electrician for U. S. Gypsum, Kelsey Hayes and for the City of Port Clinton Sewer Department. He was a member of Handol Korean Methodist Church, Sandusky and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Carl is survived by his wife: Nam and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Jim Warnke and sister: Janice Heschel. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH where visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
