Carl F. Russell, Jr. of Port Clinton, passed away September 23, 2021. He was born August 26, 1938 in Huston, TX the son of Carl D. and Eileen (Schott) Russell. He married Carin Sue Ritter and she preceded him in death on Feb. 11, 2019. Carl was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a school bus driver for the City of Port Clinton Schools. Surviving are his children: Dawn Zerbo of Port Clinton, Jeff (Anisa) Russell of Toledo, Tammy (Charles) Parish of Michigan, Steve Russell of Toledo, Tina Russell of Toledo; step-children: Kristen Swander, Bradley Kirk; grandchildren: David Hazelton, Amanda and Josh Parish, Adam, Kaylee, and Allie Russell, Stephanie and Anthony Russell; great-grandchildren: Karleigh, Ellie, Savannah, Charlie, Ashlyn and Emberlyn; step-grandchildren: Brandon and Christopher; sisters: Betty (Jim) Grindstaff of Port Clinton, Kathleen Russell of Port Clinton; nieces and nephews: Michelle Conrad, Nicole, Bradley and Angie Reeves, Jodi Stultz; great-nieces and nephews: Caitlin Conrad, Caleb Conrad, Nathan and Josh Van Hoose, Isabel and Sam Adams, Chance and Alexandria Reeves, Meckanzie, Sean and Levi Stultz.. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sister Sharon (Jim) Paulus, grandson: Jeff Russell, Jr., and niece Sheri Adams. There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be given to the Veterans Association.
