Carl A. Mehler

Carl A. “Casey” Mehler, 77, of Marblehead, OH and formerly of Grove City, OH, died Monday July 3, 2006 at Riverview Health Care Campus Oak Harbor. OH. He was born July 18, 1928 in Pleasant Corners, Ohio, the son of Albert and Olive (Lesnei) Mehler. Casey retired from the Kroger Company in 1989 after 36 years of service. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 413 of Columbus and St. John Lutheran Church of Marblehead. He is survived by his wife, Jane (Baer) Mehler, whom he married on April 5, 1947; his children John & Debbie, Mike & Barbara, Carol, and Richard Lee; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; brother, George; sister, Martha; and a sister-in-law, Jean Mehler. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard, and a sister, Catherine. The family will receive friends from 6-8:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, Lakeside-Marblehead and from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the Schoedinger-Norris Funeral Home, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday. Interment will be in Grove City Cemetery.
