Bonnita L. Carsten

Bonnita L. Carsten, 79, of Catawba Island, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on October 23, 1937 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Paul and Rose (Oswald) Dolan. On May 10, 1980 she married Peter F. Carsten and he survives. Bonnie worked as an office manager for a company in Cleveland, Ohio until her retirement in 1998. During her spare time, she enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, sewing, embroidering, reading, and cooking. Survivors include her husband, Pete; step-daughter, Jill (Joe) Fragola, Chicago, Illinois; step- grandchildren, Anthony and Alyssa Fragola; sisters, Marge (John) Demboski, Cleveland, Ohio, and Diane (Tom) Croup, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as well as many nieces and nephews. Per Bonnie's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's choice.
