Bonnie E. Sparks

Bonnie E. Sparks, 67, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, OH. She was born January 10, 1957 in Welch, WV the daughter of Greely “Junior” and Ruth (Phillips) Hall. Bonnie worked for Volunteers of America as a caretaker. She was a member of Wayside Temple and loved animals. She may have been a small person but she loved her family with the fierceness of a tiger.

Surviving are her son: Tim Sparks of Port Clinton; siblings: David (Brenda) Sparks of Port Clinton, Sarah (Alan) Buchanan of Mulberry, FL, Vicki (Jack) Flynn of Port Clinton, Pauline (Kevin) Byrns of Indiana, Jerry Sparks of Indiana and Joe (Melanie) Sparks of West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson: Christian Sparks and brother: Gregory Sparks.

A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, June 24, 2024 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Pastor Rusty Yost will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be given to Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary, 3620 E. State Rd. Port Clinton, OH 43452.
