Blanca Reyna

Blanca Reyna, 90, of Port Clinton, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 12, 2021 at her home. She was born April 23, 1931 in Mercedes, TX the daughter of Martin Rodriquez and Fidela Del Bosque. She married Basilio P. Reyna, Sr. on Jan. 6, 1947 and he preceded her in death on December 9, 2015. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton, OH. Blanca was known for her love of gardening, impressive sewing ability, and talents in the kitchen. While she enjoyed learning about world history, she had a passion for documenting and narrating her own family’s history. It was easy to be impressed by her sharp memory and ability to recall names and dates from generations before. This loyalty to family was evident in her devotion and unconditional love to her family, but especially to her husband, Basilio “Chulo”. Surviving are her son: Leroy (Cheryl) Reyna of Toledo, OH; daughters: Linda (James) Hunter of Kendalia, TX, Liela Reyna of Napoleon, OH, 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 stepsisters in California. She was preceded in death by her husband: Basilio; 1 stepsister in California, sons: Leo Reyna, Lee Reyna, Louie Reyna and daughter: Louise Reyna Del Bosque. Visitation will be held August 16th from 4pm - 6pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH. Funeral services will be conducted by Father Jonathon Wight at 10:00 am August 17th. Interment will follow at Christy Chapel Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH.
