Billy Jack Paris, 67, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away peacefully with his family and friends by his side on Friday, December 28, 2012 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital in Oregon, Ohio. He was born on July 1, 1945 in Smithville, Tennessee, the son of the late Jack and Lurene (Adcock) Paris. He served in the United States Navy during Vietnam and retired from Chrysler in Perrysburg, Ohio after 30 years. Billy was also a member of the American Legion and attended The Church of Truth Ministries, and was an organ donor. He is survived by his wife: Patty of 19 years; step-daughter: Tracy (Tony) Wright; grandchildren: Jacob and Anna, Pickerington, Ohio, several nieces and nephews; and his beloved cats: Dawn Marie and June Bug. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Ann (Gene) and Sue (Dave). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 11am at The Church of Truth Ministeries, 745 S. Lake Street, Gypsum, Ohio with Pastor Brian Hild officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may donate in his memory to Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary, 3620 E. State Street, Port Clinton, Ohio.
