Bill Butler

Bill Butler, 77, of Port Clinton, died Sunday, August 22, 2010 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, OH. He was born Jan 22, 1933 in Jonesboro, TN the son of George and Bertha (Roford) Butler. He married Sarah White in Aug. 27, 1954 and she survives. MR. Butler worked for Port Clinton Manufacturing and he enjoyed cutting fire wood for camp fires. Surviving are his wife: Sarah; children: Jan (Brian) Golick of Texas, Margie (Rick) Sanders of Texas, Dan (Ann) Butler of Norwalk, Darlene (Ralph) Hull of Napoleon, Randy (Mary) Butler of Texas, Robin (Marty) Bahnsen of Danbury, Rita (Dennis) McKain of Norwalk; 16 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers: Albert (Bluha) Butler of Florida, Jack Butler of Florida, Carl (Bonnie) Butler of Chicago, Dale Butler of Tenn.; sisters: Mildred Steel of Chicago, Gertrude Cross of Chicago, Helen (Marvin) Story of Tenn, Sarah (Earl) Edmondson of Johnson City, TN. He was preceded in death by his brothers: George and Breatha Butler, Junior Butler, Lee Butler and grandson: Jeffery Hull. Funeral services will be conducted 6:00 pm August 26, 2010 at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton with Rev. Earl Taylor officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Church of God of Prophecy.
