Beverly Ann Hetrick

Beverly A. Hetrick, 85, of Sun City West, AZ left this world to join her husband, Myron, on Tuesday morning, April 29, 2008. She was born June 15th 1922 in Oak Harbor, Ohio to the late George Meinke & Gladys Minier She was a graduate of Oak Harbor High School. On April, 9th, 1951 she married Myron "Mike" Hetrick who preceded her in death October 3, 2002. Beverly was a Matron for the Ottawa County Jail while her husband was Sheriff retiring in 1968. She enjoyed bowling, arts and crafts, gardening, decorating for the holidays, and spending time with her family. She is survived by a loving son, David Hetrick, and daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Ron Hergert of Phoenix. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, parents, sisters Helen Rahm, Betty Rahm and brothers Clayton Meinke and Hugh Meinke. She was an inspiration to all who knew her with her concern for others and courageous fight to delay for as long as possible, her inevitable departure from this earth. She will return to her birthplace, Oak Harbor Ohio, for burial next to her beloved husband. Visitation will be 7-9 Friday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Arizona.
