Betty Wightman Reinkoester

November 10, 1921 — July 12, 2011

Betty Clair Wightman Reinkoester, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in South Jordan, Utah. She was born November 10, 1921 in Port Clinton, Ohio, a daughter of Edward & Henrietta (Warnke) Wightman. Betty was an active member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, and was also involved in both Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. She enjoyed plastic canvas needle work. On February 13, 1944, Betty married Robert William Reinkoester in Port Clinton, and he survives. Also surviving is her son, Robert (Linda) Reinkoester, Jr.; niece, Linda (Duane) Rowberry; grandchildren, Andrew (Sarah) Reinkoester and Erin (Josh) Huber; great grandchildren, Peter and Ethan; sister, Margaret Latham; brother, Jim (Toni) Wightman; and many other nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by parents; brother, Ellsworth Wightman; and sister, Elaine Velliquette. Graveside services will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, July 25, 2011 at Riverview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, is handling arrangements for the family.
