Betty Waugh

Betty J. Waugh, 82 of Marblehead, OH died Friday, December 23, 2022 at Edgewood Manor Care Center, Port Clinton, OH. She was born June 24, 1940 in Willard, KY to the late Clarence and Ernestine (Arden) Gollihue. On June 6, 1959 she married Garland R. Waugh who preceded her in death August 8, 1987. Betty worked for Sears in Sandusky, OH as a catalogue agent, Porter Hardware which used to be located in Marblehead and retired from Taggarts Electric, also in Marblehead. She enjoyed quilting and making ceramics, and was a part of T.O.P.S. which was an organization that met at Danbury School.

Survivors include her son Doug (Cindy) Waugh of Marblehead, OH; grandsons Sean and Justin Waugh; great grandson Everett Waugh; and brother Donald Gollihue. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Cheryl “Sherry” Waugh.

Services will begin at 1pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel where the family will receive friends beginning at 11am at the Funeral Home.
