Betty Rose Rollheiser, 83, of Oak Harbor died suddenly at her home, May 19, 2007. She was born in Erie Township, OH August 25, 1923 to the late Sam and Orilla (Whiting) Halstead. On March 15, 1941 she married John Rollheiser and he survives. Betty was a homemaker, who loved to play bingo on Sunday nights at St. Boniface. She also loved to work with her flowers, garden, and spend time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, John, of Oak Harbor; daughter, Joan (James) Felder of Oak Harbor, sons, Joseph (Shelia) Rollheiser, James (Cynthia) Rollheiser, Jacob (friend Jo) Rollheiser all of Graytown, OH, Jeffery (friend Carla) Rollheiser of Port Clinton, OH and Jerry Rollheiser, formerly of Oak Harbor; brother, John Halstead; and sister, Ruth Marsch, both of Catawba Island, OH; 15 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son John Rollheiser Jr. Friends may call from 2-9 P.M. Monday at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where the family will be present from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. A Parish Wake Service will be held Monday evening at 7:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Oak Harbor, with the Rev. James E. Peiffer officiating.
