Betty L. Stinson

Betty L. Stinson, 83, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Regency Hospital in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born on March 1, 1931 in Oak Harbor, Ohio, the daughter of the late Fred and Helen (Hanny) Overmyer. On May 16, 1959 she married Paul J. Stinson and he preceded her in death on September 4, 2007. Betty worked in the housekeeping and medical records department at Magruder Hospital in Port Clinton until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Port Clinton where she was a member of the United Methodist Women's Club. Survivors include her sons: Charles (Deborah) Stinson; Mark Stinson, and Brian Stinson, all of Port Clinton; grandchildren: Kyle Stinson and Leslie Crockford, and sister: Marlene Rosiar, of White Lake, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1pm at Riverview Cemetery in Port Clinton with Pastor Bruce Batchelor-Glader officiating.
