Betty L. Brown

Betty L. Brown, 82, of Elliston, Ohio, died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor. She was born August 25, 1926 in Elliston to the late Paul and Olga (Kontak) Beshalske. On June 8, 1951 she married Jacob Brown and he survives. Betty worked at the Post office in Elliston and was a Cub Scout Leader for many years. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Jacob of Elliston, OH; brother, Donald (Jeannette) Beshalske of Graytown, OH; sister, Ruth Slovak of Oregon, OH, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James and William Beshalske, and sister, Joanne Sorg. Friends are invited to call from 2-7 P.M. Monday at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Rev. David J. Tinker will officiate, and interment will be in Elliston Cemetery.
