Betty "Elizabeth" A. Brandt

Betty "Elizabeth" A. Brandt, 83 of Elmore, OH and formerly of Largo, FL, died Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Genoa Care Center, Genoa, OH. She was born March 9, 1938 in Wheeling, WVA to the late June (Ulrey) Kawnak and Bill Gosney. Liz spent most of her years working as a housekeeper in an upscale hotel in Clearwater, FL. Upon moving up to Northwest Ohio, she became a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Elmore and the Elmore American Legion Post #279. She enjoyed puzzles, playing dice and cards, doing crafts, and going out to eat. Survivors include her children: Todd (Jodi) Ream of Elmore, OH, Debbie Losh of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Jolene (Michael) Lallathin of Wadsworth, OH, Julie (John) Wisner of Akron, OH, and Lori (Chris) Marchese of Olive Branch MO, 16 grandchildren: many great- grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene Brandt Sr., daughter Cheryl Moon, brother Buddy Gosney and sister Judy Mosley. Funeral Services will begin at Noon on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, 19550 W. State Route 51, Elmore, OH 43416 with the family to receive friends beginning at 10am at the Funeral Home. Burial will then take place in Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater Florida next to her husband.
