Betty Ann Riehm

Betty Ann (Crozier) Riehm, 80, passed away peacefully at her home December 17, 2011. Betty lived a full and healthy life, starting and ending her 80 years in her childhood home of Elmore, OH. She was born March 1, 1931 in Elmore to the late Dale and Leona (Freimark) Crozier. She graduated Valedictorian of her 1949 Harris- Elmore High School class. On October 17, 1953 she married Roger A. Riehm who preceded her in death November 6, 2008. During their 55 years together, they raised three children, traveled the world, explored their faith, supported many causes, and cherished friends, family and community. Betty's last few years were spent volunteering with the Elmore Historical Society, attending meetings of the Association for Research & Enlightenment and on outings with her life-long friends. Survivors include her children: Merry (Gary) Riehm-Constantino of Buffalo, NY, Gretchen (Thomas) Rymers of Genoa, OH, and Roger K. (Kim Spaeth) of Haddonfield, NJ; six grandchildren: David (Leah), Steven, James, and Jonathon Rymers, Isabella and Christina Constantino; three great- grandchildren: Abigail, Elizabeth and Jaxson Rymers; brothers: James, Thomas (Sharon), William, and David Crozier; sisters: Lila Wood and Sue Howe; and brother-in-law Eldon D. (Margaret) Riehm and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a sister Jean Crozier and in-laws: Hattie Crozier, John Wood, and Richard Howe. Services will begin at 11am Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore Genoa Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 9-11am.
