Beatrice M. Green

Beatrice M. Green, 83, of Catawba Island died Thursday, September 13, 2012 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on November 13, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice Gockel. She married Harold E. Green on February 25, 1950 and he preceded her in death on September 15, 2008. Survivors include her daughter: Laura (Pete) Wennes, Port Clinton, OH; son: Jeffrey (Rosie) Green, Antioch, California; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a brother: Lyle Gaylord, Cleveland, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter: Cynthia A. Turner; and son: Ernest H. Green. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 4-6pm at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, 1124 Fulton Street, Port Clinton. At Beatrice's request, cremation will then take place, followed by private burial at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
