Beatrice F. "Bea" Massey

Beatrice "Bea" McCauley Massey, 66, formally of Vickery, OH, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday Sept 30, 2013, at home in Castalia, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born Dec 8, 1946 in Newburg, W. Va. the daughter of the late Blaine and Edna Bell McCauley. She married Tony Massey April 14, 1995 and he preceded her in death in 2006. She worked for Phil's Inn in Port Clinton for many years and Wal-Mart in Sandusky for several years before retiring in 2005. She was a member of The Sandusky Church of God. She enjoyed spending time in God's word, church, family, friends, reading, working puzzles and especially spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who were the apples of her eye. She is survived by her daughters Rhonda (Robert) Puckett of Marblehead, Jena (Rev. Vernon) Chiow of Castalia and Joan (DJ) Johnson of Fremont. Grandchildren Chris Puckett of Sandusky, John (Martha) Puckett of Fredericktown, OH, Heather (Mike) Johnson of Galloway, OH, Danielle Poling of Bellevue, Brittany (Robert) Cantrell and Jacob (Ivanna) Chiow of Kentucky, Alandra and Alexandra Nethercutt of Fremont. Great grandchildren, Dalton and Nolan Laird, Will and Gwen Johnson, Chelsea and Siena Petersen, Briella Cantrell, Aydin Wilson, McKenzie, Jazmine and Janessa Puckett and Mason Goodman. Sisters, Mary Myers of W.Va. and Rosalee (Ralph) Newcome of Florida. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Her family would like to thank her former neighbors Ron and Mar Jean Karr for their help, love and compassion through the years. Also a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and aides of Stein Hospice and the Cleveland Clinic for their care and compassion. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brothers Philip and Frank McCauley, daughter Angela and grandson Devin in infancy. Bea was a loving and giving person and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Neidecker, LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Peninsula Chapel, LakesideMarblehead. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 at Sandusky Church of God on Friday Oct 4, 2013 and Services at 11:00 am on Saturday Oct 5, 2013 where Rev. Vernon Chiow and Pastor Sam Studer will officiate.
