Barrett J. Paule, 53, began his earthly life, April 6, 1959, the youngest son of Bob and Mitzie Paule, who survive in Elmore. A graduate of Woodmore High School, Barrett proudly served his country in the US Air Force, retiring after 27 years of service. Until his death he worked for the Ohio Department of Transportation. Barrett fell in love and married his soul mate, Denise (Travis) Paule on Febuary 17, 2012. The short time they shared together was his happiest. He was a loving father to children Shane and Shena of Mississippi, Nick of Stony Ridge, and stepdaughters Ciara (TJ) Grof of Bowling Green and Alex Boscaino of Hesperia, CA. Growing up without their grandpa are Karson and Kamden Grof and Kira, Inessa, and Aston Paule. Hopefully they will remember his smiles and hugs. Barrett will be greatly missed by his brothers, Steve (Brenda) of Mesa, AZ, Tom (Julie) of Elmore and Reg (Diane) of Harrod, OH. Also surviving are nephews Pat (Mandy), Pete, Bryce (Rachael) and nieces Michelle (Paule) Burroughs and Taryn (Jon) Weir, great uncle Vern Zenser and Godmother Sandy Zenser. Barrett was a member of the Elmore American Legion Post #279. He enjoyed Thursday night golf league in Oak Harbor with the guys, races at Eldora and Fremont and just plain having a good time. Barrett was an avid Buckeye and Browns fan, and will be remembered as a fun-loving person with a great sense of humor, who was always willing to help a friend in need. On Jan 24, 2013, Barrett began his heavenly life when it was said that God needed to have a party. His family and friends will always cherish their memories with Barrett and have found comfort knowing that he is at peace in God's loving hands. Visitation will be held on January 28 from 2-8 P.M. at Crosser Funeral Home, Elmore-Genoa Chapel, 19550 W. S.R. 51. Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Grace Lutheran Church in Elmore, with Pastor David Nevergall officiating. Burial will follow at Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery.
