Avoline M. Bethel

Avoline M. Bethel, 90, of Port Clinton, OH, died Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Riverview Health Care Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. She was born February 19, 1916 in Danbury Township, the daughter of Christ and Clara (Stetler) Riedmaier. Avoline was retired from the Port Clinton Manufacturing Company after 30 years and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Port Clinton. She is survived by her granddaughter, Gloria (Loren) Odegaard of Perrysburg, OH; grandson, Gregory Van Horn of St. Louis, MO, and two great grandchildren, Kari and Lee Odegaard. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Snider, Jr. and Harry Bethel; her daughter, Lynda Van Horn; her parents, and brothers Robert, Herman, Earl and John “Jack” Riedmaier. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon Wednesday until the time of services at 1:30 P.M. at the Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton. The Rev. James Lehman will officiate, and interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Port Clinton. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Lutheran Church, Riverview Health Care Campus, or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
